Has COVID-19 impacted your life?

COVID-19 and the pandemic has changed every aspect of our lives - from the way we work to the way we socialize. It hasn't left a stone unturned in our lives.

Our purpose is to understand the ways we react and handle this new environment, but we can only do this with your help! We're looking for participants to help us understand what effects the pandemic is having on our lives

This study works best if you enable the "location" setting in the Linkt Appplication. This will allow Linkt to use its geofencing feature, and ask you if you are seeking medical care whenever you are near a medical facility. However, if you live in a densely populated area, you may pass many medical facilities each day. This will trigger the Linkt App to ask you whether you are seeking medical care more frequently than if you live in a remote area. If these notifications are too frequent for you, you may disable them by following these steps within the Linkt App:

Research

COVID-19 is an infectious disease caused by a newly discovered coronavirus. Due to the rate of transmission, this disease has caused billions of people to social distance and remain indoors as much as possible. This disease has also caused financial distress for millions of Amercian businesses and families. With this kind of emotional and financial distress, there has also been an increase of misinformation spreading throughout the internet as people try to understand this virus.

This study is being led by the Cole Neurocognition Lab at Rutgers University-Newark working with DataCubed - a health science company.

Here is a step-by-step guide on how to sign up for our study!

DataCubed

Who is DataCubed?

DataCubed is a health science company that is focused on providing data through smartphone apps, wearable, in-home, and environmental sensors for remote patients and participants of behavioral and clinical studies.

Through the Linkt Health App, participants are able to answer quesitons, play games, and receive compensation from the comfort and safety of their homes.

What is Geofencing?

The Linkt Health App also includes geofencing. Geofencing is a location-based service that only tracks whether you've entered or exited a specified region, it never tracks your exact location. To make sure we get the best possible data from your participation, please allow the app to know your location always (this won't be tracking your exact location, it will only tell us if you've entered a bounded region).
